Took this through a 10x Loop with full zoom (not sure the mm) on the good 'ol Rebel XTi. This is a laser diode from a DVD player with the shroud removed.
And just so you can get an idea for scale:

ya....there's quite a bit of controversy on the subject. I placed my order within the first week of it going up for sale...when it was listed as "in stock". Not a single person has yet to get one. No one has even seen one in action since that video was posted...but I guess that's what I get for being attracted to anything shiny. Oh, and it's still listed as "in stock" over a month later. But ya, as soon as I get it, I'll post some video of me terrorizing the cat.

They've been around for a while, I ordered an 80 mw greenie laser from them back in '06. Back then, a handheld 80 mw laser was really something Transaction went very smoothly. I think they just got in over their heads this time.
